Following the success of the 1st Hydrogen Summer School last year, the event is coming for a second continuous year and will take place from July 1st to July 5th 2024 at the University of Western Macedonia in ZEP Area, Kozani.
Τhe 2nd Hydrogen Summer School is organized by Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia (CluBE) in collaboration with Advent Technologies within the European project Green Skills for Hydrogen – “The European Skills Alliance”, funded under the ERASMUS+ program, with the support of the University of Western Macedonia.
The Summer School is addressed to students and professionals at international level and will be conducted in the English language (text and presentations). The programme aims to provide undergraduate and postgraduate students, professionals, engineers and technical staff with the necessary skills and expertise needed to engage in the international Hydrogen Value Chain.
The objective of the programme is for participants to develop a high level of knowledge and expertise in the rapidly developing hydrogen sector. Participants will be trained by experts who are leading the way in the hydrogen industry.
The training programme will cover the entire hydrogen value chain, including production, storage, transportation and end-use of hydrogen, as well as safety issues and economic aspects related to its production and utilization. Advent Technologies will also conduct a training programme focused on High Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) technology. As part of the programme, there will also be a study visit to industrial facilities.
The courses will last from 10:00 to 18:00 every day. The full schedule will be published soon.
Important information!
The 2nd Hydrogen Summer ScH2ool priority admission is based on registration time order. A limited number of positions (80 attendees) is available.
The participation fee is set at 20€.
Certificates of attendance (with ECTS points) will be released to all participants who successfully complete the summer school programme, in collaboration with the Centre of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning (KE.DI.VI.M) of the University of Western Macedonia.
Additional expenses for participants’ travel and accommodation are NOT covered.
